Jedd Fisch lands the biggest commitment yet for the Huskies with the addition of Tre Moore, a 4-star wide receiver from Texas. Moore had yet to even take his official visit to Montlake, but wide receiver coach Kevin Cummings was able to get him to choose the Dawgs earlier. This is now Washington's top committed player, according to composite rankings on 24/7 Sports.
Moore was a highly sought-after receiver with nearly 50 offers, all from the biggest programs and top recruiting schools. He's No. 160 in the country among all recruits and a top-25 receiver. Though there are some that think he could finish as a low 5-star or high 4-star. Back in May, Beck Parsons wrote about how important it is for Fisch to close the deal on Moore.

Now with Moore in the fold, Washington is back inside the top-20. The team recruiting rankings have been changing daily with all the commitments happening during official visit season. Washington had fallen without picking up any this last weekend, but now with another 4-star in the fold, the Dawgs are listed as No. 16.
As mentioned above, Moore is the top-rated player in the 2027 Washington recruiting class, just slightly above 4-star quarterback Blake Roskopf and 4-star DL Jon Ioane. Moore is now the third wide receiver in the recruiting class. He joins 4-star Zerek Sidney and 3-star Braylon Pope.
Adding the 6'3, 200-pound receiver does volumes for the recruiting class but also for the team as a whole. Jedd Fisch loves adding playmakers on the outside that can stretch the field. This is exactly who Moore is. Washington's success with wide receivers only helps recruit future purple and gold pass catchers.
Moore is set to visit Montlake later this month, June 19, and was setting up visits to Miami and Ohio State, but now those are off the table, and Moore is a Dawg.
