Everything you need to watch Jedd Fisch, Washington Huskies try to upend Oregon Ducks
By Ethan Lee
Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies are unbeaten at home. And unfortunately, they don’t get to play their next opponent at home. Instead, Washington, sitting at 6-5 overall and 4-4 in Big Ten play, will hit the road to face the last unbeaten team in the country: the Oregon Ducks.
We’ve got a rivalry game that has pretty high stakes for one team involved and intriguing, chaotic stakes for the other program.
Oregon is looking to remain unbeaten heading into the Big Ten championship game to make its claim on a spot in the College Football Playoffs more than certain. But as for Washington? Well, the Huskies have a chance to ruin what has been a remarkable season for the Ducks.
Let’s go over EVERYTHING you need to know to watch the Huskies head to Autzen Stadium to take on the Oregon Ducks.

This isn’t the most important game of the season for Fisch and a loss here would certainly be understandable. It’d be hard to count one against the Huskies if it should happen given that this is a rebuild season for UW.
Losing this one wouldn’t define Washington’s season.
However, it’s worth noting that finding a way to get this road win against Oregon, however unlikely that might be (it’s pretty unlikely), would definitely go a long way to making this season seem a lot different. It would radically change the way some view Fisch’s first year on Montlake and make it clear that there’s tangible momentum with UW under Fisch’s guidance.
There’s a huge opportunity here. And it’s not like Oregon has played perfect football all season long. Just last week, in a road game to Wisconsin, the Ducks were struggling a bit. Early on in the year, Oregon barely escaped the Idaho Vandals from the FCS.
They’ve got an unblemished record, but they aren’t exactly flawless.
Of course, we’ve seen plenty of issues from the Huskies all throughout the season (and that’s especially true in road games). If Washington is going to win this one, the Huskies can’t stumble and struggle and shoot themselves in the foot in Autzen Stadium.
