The Washington Huskies have a few solid wins this season to brag about. Nothing spectacular, but those wins over the Michigan Wolverines and USC Trojans shouldn’t exactly go overlooked. That said, while those wins are nice in theory, the Huskies, at 6-5 overall and 4-4 in Big Ten play on the season, don’t have a statement victory so far this year.

There’s one more chance to change that as Jedd Fisch and the Huskies are looking to spoil what has been an otherwise unblemished season for Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks. Washington has a tough task ahead of it if the Huskies are going to try to upset Oregon.

The Ducks, at 11-0 and 8-0 in Big Ten play, are aiming to maintain the only perfect record on the season as well as further secure the top-seeded spot in the newly expanded 12-team college football playoff system.

No pressure or anything.

Technically, there’s not much pressure on Washington here. This season is what it is. The Huskies are playing with house money at the moment. That bowl berth UW earned last week can’t be taken away with a loss to Oregon.

And sure, Oregon looks like the better team and they’ve consistently looked that way all throughout the season, but what better time for UW to deliver a shocking road win than right now, you know?
