Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies found a way to make their quarterback room even more exciting as they added Hawaiian standout quarterback Treston “Kini” McMillan to the 2025 Washington signing class.

Between Demond Williams Jr. (who is already on the roster), the addition of McMillan (who will be on Montlake soon enough), and also the signing of fellow 2025 quarterback Dash Beierly out of California, the Huskies will have a fascinating group of young, talented quarterbacks in Seattle this coming season.

McMillan isn’t the most physically imposing quarterback. The Huskies list him at 6-feet tall, but 247 Sports has him at 5-foot-10. He’s also weighing in at somewhere around 200 to 210 pounds, depending on who you ask.

That said, he’s definitely proven that he can be a dangerous offensive weapon for a team as he dominated in the high school ranks. McMillan guided Mililani High School to the state semifinals and was a strong passer in the process.

During his junior season, McMillan threw for 3,521 passing yards and 42 touchdowns all while only tossing a half dozen interceptions. To go with that, McMillan also ran for another 575 yards and 11 more touchdowns. That sort of dynamic athleticism is exciting to have on Washington’s roster.

Fisch is doing a pretty good job of building upon the impressive history of Washington quarterbacks with the folks he’s bringing to Seattle.

And when you consider how Fisch has already proven capable of developing athletic and exciting quarterbacks into stars during his time with the Arizona Wildcats, the addition of McMillan to this roster is fun to think about.

Speaking of Arizona, the Wildcats were one of the teams that offered McMillan but came up short of landing his services. McMillan picked the Huskies over Arizona as well as the Oregon State Beavers, Washington State Cougars, Texas State Bobcats, and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
