While this isn’t technically the first recruiting class that Jedd Fisch has had a chance to assemble during his time as the head coach of the Washington Huskies, it should be clear that this is the first full class that he’s been able to put together.

After Kalen DeBoer left the Washington Husky football team to coach in Tuscaloosa, Fisch and the coaching staff that he brought to Seattle from Tucson had to work quickly to assemble a roster back in January.

And, all things considered, they did a pretty good job. It’s hard to complain about all of the results given the overall context. Things could be better, sure, but the whole situation was a little weird.

Things are different now.

2025 Washington Huskies signing class tracker: Jedd Fisch assembles his first full recruiting class in Seattle

Fisch and the Huskies are putting together a complete recruiting class this go round and there’s a lot to pay attention to with the way it’s starting to come together. Right now, it looks like the Huskies are going to assemble a Top 25 recruiting class, according to 247Sports recruiting rankings.

Let’s track the 2025 Huskies signing class here:

Given the up and down, 6-6 season that UW had, a top 20 or top 25 recruiting class would be huge for the Huskies. It’d provide Fisch and his staff a great launching point to continue to build off of, especially through the transfer portal.

Jedd Fisch and the Huskies have a great opportunity here. This class likely won’t solve all of the roster issues and depth problems that the Huskies are facing, but the UW football program should start getting a more clear identity with the addition of this group.

And that matters.

While Fisch and his coaching staff were able to get a few notable wins here and there this past season, the program isn’t exactly where it needs to be (or where the Washington football fans hope it will be in another season or two).

But, with a solid foundation to build on (this is something to build on, please still utilize the transfer portal, especially to enhance the play at the line of scrimmage), the Huskies might be moving in the right direction sooner rather than later. And here’s to hoping that this signing class is a catalyst for that.
