The Washington Huskies were pretty active in defining what the identity of the future of their offense would be with the 2025 Washington football recruiting class. Jedd Fisch is bringing two new fascinating quarterbacks to Montlake, including the dynamic Dash Beierly out of California.
Beierly spent his high school career playing for the powerhouse that is Mater Dei High School and he thrived there, building a resume that should keep Washington Husky fans excited about the future of the Dawgs offense.
At 6-foot-1 and weighing in at 215 pounds, Beierly has proven to be a solid passer and an exciting runner. The fact that Beierly, like fellow 2025 Washington Husky quarterback commit Treston McMillan, is a dual threat proves that Fisch is working to define what he wants the Huskies offense to look like under his guidance.
And it should be a lot of fun for UW fans who enjoy seeing their quarterback move around a bit.
Jedd Fisch, Washington Huskies land dynamic dual threat California quarterback Dash Beierly
During his senior season with Mater Dei, Beierly managed to go 12-0 and threw for 1820 yards and 23 touchdowns against two picks while completing 62.7 percent of his passes and running for an additional 440 yards and five touchdowns.
As a junior, Beierly completed 62.1 percent of his passes for 1966 yards, 17 touchdowns, and six picks all while running for 554 yards and 12 touchdowns.
He brings an exciting element to UW’s offense and his skillset seems pretty similar to that of McMillan and current Washington Huskies quarterback Demond Williams Jr.
The Huskies were able to get Beierly over a number of other teams who offered the three-star quarterback a spot on their roster, including the Miami Hurricanes, BYU Cougars, Oregon State Beavers, California Golden Bears, Duke Blue Devils, Minnesota Golden Gophers, SMU Mustangs, and more.
