The Washington Huskies have found a new point guard in the transfer portal. A natural scoring guard who played for San Francisco last season. Ryan Beasley is a 5'11 guard who has a natural instinct for getting down the lane, but also isn't scared to put up a three. His veteran experience and natural instincts are much needed on this depleted Husky roster.

Danny Sprinkle has now landed three portal commitments, and while none have made a huge splash nationally, he's slowly putting the pieces together.

Beasley is entering his fourth year of college and has played 90 total games over the past three years for the San Francisco Dons. Each year, he's added a new element to his game, and his point total averages have increased from 7.8 to 9, finally to 13.6 per game this last season. Beasley also averages four assists per game.

He's also got a knack for the defensive end of the floor, adding about two steals per game. It's a solid pickup for Danny Sprinkle. He needed to find a replacement for JJ Mandaquit, who transferred to Arizona, and it seems he's done just that with Beasley.

This is now the third player that Sprinkle has added. Last week, he brought in two different sharpshooting wings: Steele Venters from Gonzaga and Parker Friedrichsen from Davidson. While there are still a bunch of holes to fill, this is a decent start for Sprinkle.

The Huskies need to find another big man, as Sprinkle lost to Alabama in a recruiting battle with Drew Fielder, who was transferring out of Boise State. It appears that Sprinkle may be back to the drawing board there. Beasley will need a big to help him find those assist totals. Right now, the Huskies only have Nikola Dzepina and Mady Traore as bigs on the roster. That's nowhere near enough. But hey, at least there's now a point guard!
