The San Francisco 49ers go back-to-back with the Washington Huskies. With the No. 127th pick in the NFL Draft, the 49ers selected Washington offensive lineman Carver Willis. A few picks later at No. 139 (a comp pick), San Francisco picked defensive back Ephesians Prysock. Both are steals for the 49ers with versatility and upside.

In fact, the two things Willis and Prysock have in common with the 49ers, besides playing for the Huskies, are that they both offer versatility and scheme fit for San Francisco. In fact, some people are already hoping that Prysock moves to safety for the 49ers. Even if he stays at defensive back, 49er fans are thrilled with the pick (unlike a lot of their other reactions to picks).

The reactions on social media are fun to read through, especially as a Husky fan. Prysock is a fun player to root for, even if he has to be a 49er now. (Many Husky fans moonlight as Seattle Seahawks fans.)

Prysock went later than his Husky counterpart, Tacario Davis, in this draft, but both are long and athletic corners. The big difference for Prysock is not as much of a ballhawk so his stats won't wow. A big perk for Prysock is his strong willingness to tackle. He's also stupid fast for 6'3 and 196 running a 4.45 40-yard dash.

There may truly be a desire to move him to safety as he's big and plays like an enforcer and functions well in both man-to-man and zone coverages.

While he most likely won't slide into the starting lineup, as the San Francisco 49ers already have three starters in Deommodore Lenoir, Renardo Green, and Upton Stout. They also grabbed Nate Hobbs in free agency. But Prysock should be the next man up.
