We’re about to learn a lot about the Washington Huskies over the next few weeks. Following that frustrating loss in the Apple Cup to the Washington State Cougars, Jedd Fisch and the Huskies could now conceivably have a hard time making it to a bowl game this season.

There are currently four ranked teams left on Washington’s schedule. There are also five road games. There’s a lot that could certainly go wrong for the Huskies if they aren’t careful. And if they aren’t careful, they might find themselves sitting at home instead of competing in a bowl game by the time the regular season wraps up.

Or, well, maybe the loss to Washington State serves as a wakeup call. Maybe, in the midst of Washington’s move into the Big Ten, the Huskies hit a speed bump that is something they could possibly get over and bounce back from.

Maybe we’ll get to see the Huskies overcome that early snag and surprising loss to Wazzu.

As Jedd Fisch and the Huskies look to recover from last week’s Apple Cup loss and continue moving forward into Big Ten play, Washington is sure to face some tough tests up ahead. Can the Huskies survive this schedule?
