The Washington Huskies landed commitments from a pair of exciting offensive linemen on July 1, but haven’t made any more additions to their 2027 recruiting class since then. However, that could change in a big way on Saturday, when three prospects who’ve listed the Huskies as finalists announce their commitments.

Censere Gaylord - 12 p.m.

Censere Gaylord, a consensus four-star cornerback out of Bradenton, Fla.’s prestigious IMG Academy, will be the first and highest-rated prospect to announce his commitment. He’s scheduled to pick between Washington, Georgia, and Georgia Tech at a ceremony which will be broadcast live via CBS Sports College Football’s YouTube channel at 12 p.m. PST.

Gaylord played one year of high school football for Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, Calif., before making the move to IMG. He earned blue-chip status following two strong years with the Ascenders in which he tallied a combined seven interceptions, a forced fumble, and 10 pass breakups. He’s also recorded a pick-six in each of his three high school seasons.

Gaylord is rated highest by 247Sports, which ranks him the nation’s No. 13 cornerback, the nation’s No. 133 overall player. He’d be a huge pickup for the Huskies, whose top commit, receiver Tre Moore, is ranked only No. 167 nationally.

Fortunately for Husky fans, analysts have been expecting Gaylord to land in Montlake for weeks now. 247Sports’ Zach Blostein crystal-balled Gaylord to the Huskies on the afternoon of June 18, and Rivals’ Chad Simmons followed suit the next morning. The predictions came following a three-week stretch of visits from Gaylord, who had also been expected to visit Auburn (an original fourth finalist) on June 19.

What caused those predictions? According to Gaylord, third-year Washington defensive backs coach John Richardson deserves major credit:

“I’ve known [Richardson] since 8th grade and I know he can make me the best man I can be on and off the field," Gaylord told Rivals shortly after his May 29 visit to Washington.

A commitment from Gaylord would be huge for Richardson, who’s still looking to add a second cornerback to UW’s 2027 recruiting class. Three-star commit Maurice Williams has potential, but Gaylord is more likely to enter UW as an early contributor.

In February, he was praised by 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins as a “smooth cover corner” with “slick transitions” and “legitimate NFL upside.” He’s probably going to need to add weight – 247Sports has him at 165 pounds to Rivals’ 180 – but at six feet tall, he’ll likely fill out into a typical cornerback build.

Dajohn Yarborough - 3 p.m.

Despite already standing 6-foot-5 and 340 pounds, Dajon Yarborough projects as a collegiate guard due to his sheer power. However, the former wrestler and lacrosse player’s size comes with surprising quickness and agility, giving Yarborough what 247Sports’ Greg Biggins called “one of the highest ceilings of any player out West in the ’27 class.”

The consensus three-star prospect began his high school career in Minnesota, where after two seasons he was ranked the state’s No. 2 recruit. However, he transferred to Chandler, Ariz.’s Basha High School prior to his junior year, reportedly in order to increase his recruiting potential.

After a junior season playing right tackle for Basha, a school which also produced Huskies quarterback Demond Williams Jr., Yarborough is ranked by Rivals as the nation’s No. 26 interior blocker. He also comes in as a consensus top-10 player from Arizona, where Washington already holds commitments from five of the state’s top 15 recruits.

With his recruitment now concluding, Yarborough is now set to decide between Washington, Florida State, Mississippi State, and Cal. But with one day to go, it’s still anyone’s race.

According to Rivals, Yarborough’s commitment appears to be a near toss-up, as Cal holds the best odds of landing his commitment at just 20.2%. The Huskies aren’t far behind at 17.2%, while Mississippi State and Florida State are still in contention at 15.2% and 12.6%, respectively. Yarborough was reportedly torn between schools, and was originally scheduled to commit on June 27.

The Golden Bears may be a slight favorite to earn Yarborough’s services, but the Huskies may benefit from being the last stop on the St. Louis Park, Minn. native’s four-week stretch of official visits. Yarborough made his way up to Montlake on June 19, where he reportedly enjoyed his talks with coaches and exploring Seattle:

If Yarborough does land in Seattle, he’ll be a major acquisition for the future of the Huskies’ offensive line. The Huskies already have one commit at each of the three offensive line positions, but Yarborough could fill the other guard spot whilst also providing depth and flexibility as a swing tackle.

With four of five starters returning for 2026, Washington’s offensive line will likely see significant changes in years to come. Yarborough’s ready-made frame and potential versatility would give him a good chance of integrating into Washington’s offensive line of the future, but that’s only if he decides to become a Husky. Like Gaylord, he’ll make his commitment live via CBS Sports College Football’s YouTube channel on Saturday, with the ceremony set to kick off at 3 p.m. PST.

Lincoln Mageo - 4 p.m.

The last July 11 commitment involving the Huskies will come at 4 p.m., when Oceanside High School (Oceanside, Calif.) offensive lineman Lincoln Mageo announces his future plans. And though Husky fans should monitor Mageo’s decision, they shouldn’t get their hopes up.

Mageo is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals, which rates him as the nation’s No. 16 interior blocker, the nation’s No. 242 overall player, and the No. 22 player in California. He would be a nice addition to Washington’s offensive line room, but the connections he’s built with the Huskies don’t seem to have been enough to earn his commitment.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman previously received an in-house visit from two UW coaches in January, and took an unofficial visit to Montlake in March for Junior Day. He was slated to visit Washington on June 19, but cancelled the visit due to a reported dental procedure.

That wasn’t a good sign for the Huskies, but getting Mageo in for an official visit to Montlake would have been an uphill battle for UW’s staff anyway. Rivals insider Ethan McDowell had already predicted Mageo to commit to Michigan on June 2, fellow insider Greg Biggins had done the same on June 9, and 247Sports’ Brice Marich had made it a triple on June 10.

According to Rivals, the Wolverines hold a 91.4% chance of landing Mageo on Saturday. The Huskies, who’ve been replaced by Arizona as Mageo’s third finalist alongside Michigan and Utah, appear to have less than a 2% chance of earning his commitment when he goes live on YouTube on Saturday afternoon.
