The Washington Huskies continue to pick up momentum in the 2027 recruiting class. They've landed their second commitment in the last week, and this time it's the top player in the state of Idaho. Titus Osterman is listed as a 3-star linebacker out of Kimberly, Idaho, and he holds offers from Washington, Washington State, and Utah State. Recruitment has been picking up steam lately.

Osterman is listed as an athlete on 24/7 Sports because he plays both sides of the ball. He had 24 receptions for 364 yards and three touchdowns on the offensive side. However, he projects best as a college linebacker, and those stats are more impressive. He had 71 tackles with five of them being for loss, one sack, and one interception.
The 3-star linebacker from Idaho was on an unofficial visit to Montlake this last weekend and didn't leave before telling Fisch and the coaching staff that he was ready to commit and become a Husky.
Osterman is now the fourth commitment to the class for 2027. Fisch and the Huskies have added two of the top players in Washington to kick it off: Wide receiver Braylon Pope from Sumner and athlete Maurice Williams from Graham.
This last week, he added Zerek Sidney, the sixth-best player in Arizona. So while the class started with in-state recruits (always important), UW is now adding back-to-back top players from other states.
This recruiting class is still very young, but Fisch has proven that recruiting is one of his strengths, and he's working to build a top class year after year. In 2026, Washington had a top-20 recruiting class when all was said and done. 2027 is shaping up to be similar and is currently ranked 19th overall.
