Last year, Jedd Fisch was seen rocking a shirt that had the top 25 teams listed on the back with the words "Where's Washington?" stamped over the top. He used that bulletin board material to help motivate himself and his team to go out and prove all the doubters wrong. Whether it worked or not is irrelevant, as it's part of who Fisch is. He's already found another.

On social media, he posted two words this week that prove he's ready to find his next bulletin board material. On top of a post sent by Josh Pate that read, "My current top 12 programs in the country." As you can guess, Washington wasn't one of them. Jedd quoted it with, "Got it."

It fired up many Washington Huskies fans to see him post this, and that he continues to find motivation for the upcoming season. However, most general college football fans were quick to point out that there's no reason they should be in the top-12.

Both can be right. The only way to get into the top 12 is by winning games and doing it early and often next season. Right now, the Huskies are mostly considered a top-25 team but not a top-12 or greater. Yet, you want the coach to take this as an insult and to use it as motivation to prove the doubters wrong.

The Huskies open the season against the Cougars on September 5th, and that will be the first opportunity to really prove the doubters wrong. Until then, Fisch needs to prove his quarterback wants to be a Husky and get the roster ready to compete and prepare in the spring. For now, it's just on the bulletin board, but it does give them a goal to shoot for.
