Saturday morning, the struggling Washington Huskies (10-10 overall, 1-8 Big Ten) will have a chance (even if it is a slim chance) to snap their six-game losing streak when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers (11-10 overall, 3-7 Big Ten) in Minneapolis. 

This game is pretty important for both of these programs as they’re trying to find some life when facing Big Ten teams. And, well, this is a Big Ten conference game for both the Huskies and the Golden Gophers. So… we’ll see who comes out on top of this one. It’ll probably be a Big Ten team.

There simply won’t be many more opportunities for wins down the stretch of this season for Danny Sprinkle and the Washington Huskies and that will certainly seem very, very true if UW falls flat in this one. This is a game that the Huskies absolutely have to win.
