Danny Sprinkle and the Washington Huskies are encountering another Big Ten team that is in the midst of a rough season as they head up to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Williams Arena on Saturday, February 1.

This will be the first time that Washington and Minnesota have met in years and it’s kinda interesting how both of these teams are struggling to find success in the Big Ten this season. UW will enter this game with a 10-10 overall record and the Huskies are 1-8 when facing Big Ten foes this season. Meanwhile, Minnesota isn’t exactly all that much better at 11-10 overall and 3-7 vs. Big Ten competition.

But, despite that, UW isn’t being given a great chance of winning this road game. To be fair, Washington has yet to win a road game this season. So, this seems like a great time to do just that and to snap a six-game losing skid.

How to watch the Washington Huskies face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Williams Arena

Here’s what you need to know about the game to keep up with Sprinkle and the Huskies as they take on Minnesota:

  • Who: Washington Huskies vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers
  • Where: Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • When: Saturday, February 1, 2025
  • Tipoff time: 9 a.m. PT, 11 a.m. CT
  • TV Channel: Big Ten Network
  • Radio broadcast: Sports Radio KJR

Washington really, really needs to find some life and get this season into a position where it isn’t just defined by frustrating losses. Or, well, for my sanity at least. I would really appreciate it if that happened. Getting a road win, beating a team that is 10-4 at home, and getting a second Big Ten conference win? I’m all on board with that. I guess we’ll see how it actually plays out though.
