Washington football adds 2024 four-star wide receiver Jason Robinson Jr.
Robinson possesses an array of impressive attributes, including speed, acceleration, and agility. These qualities enable him to beat defenders vertically, establishing himself as a versatile and dynamic threat on the football field.
With Rome Odunze, Jalen McMillan, and Giles Jackson departing after the season, Robinson will have ample opportunities to showcase his skills and receive a significant number of snaps. However, he will face competition from Ja’Lynn Polk and Germie Bernard as they vie for similar positions.
Ahead of his final year of high school, we got the chance to speak briefly with Robinson about his decision to join Washington football.

JR: The environment, the school history, the city, and also the fact they develop NFL prospects.
The Husky Haul: Can you share any specific goals you have for yourself during your time at Washington?
JR: To help win a national championship and win the Biletnikoff.
The Husky Haul: How do you envision your role within the team’s offensive system?
JR: I can be used inside and outside, depending on the defense I can run routes or take the doors off and beat the secondary deep.
The Husky Haul: Are there any specific NFL players you look up to and hope to emulate in your career?
JR: Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Stefon Diggs.
Looking ahead, Robinson has set ambitious goals for his time at Washington. He expressed a desire to contribute to winning a national championship and also aims to win the Biletnikoff Award, which recognizes the top college football receiver each year.
