Quick trade equivalent of NFL dismissal
And that trade happened rather quickly. It’s clear from the swiftness that the driving force here was the interest of the Kansas City Chiefs to distance themselves from Peters.
Marcus Peters to LA Rams trade is now officially agreed to, per source; cannot be processed until March 14. But Peters expected to be a Ram.

Winners and Losers
While many will assess the winners/losers from this trade based on the value of assets obtained by the Kansas City Chiefs in this transaction, that is not the entire story here. Our friends at the Arrowhead Addict were not pleased with the news, no matter what the return.
Quick disclaimer: We wrote a story days ago that Marcus Peters was never, ever going to get traded and we did so because Marcus Peters *should* never, ever be traded. Unless they got the Rams next 10 first round choices, this is bad news.
