Florida State’s head coach Jimbo Fisher declares ACC is NCAA best football conference. But the Washington Football team thinks otherwise.
Facts are based on perspective. To Florida State University head coach Jimbo Fisher, he sees the ACC as the conference with the defending NCAA football champion (Clemson) and the defending Heisman Trophy winner Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, and concludes the ACC is the NCAA best football conference. Washington Football fans likely have a differing opinion.
But, that is what he shared with ESPN recently.
After all, they are facts. And they are irrefutable.
Not so fast my friend
But there are other facts. Facts about which conference owns which conference. And when you compare the ACC to the PAC-12, a different narrative is even more obvious. In fact, thanks to statistics maintained by Topdan.com, the PAC-12 appears to dominate the ACC.
After all, is there any other way to interpret a 25-10 thumping of the ACC at the hands of PAC-12 teams?
This entire narrative caught the nation’s attention as Florida State University and Alabama prepare to face off in their respective openers on September 2, 2017. While that will most certainly be a good game, it simply is just one of the games to a very exciting NCAA football season.
PAC-12 matchups
The Washington Football team has a significant game on their schedule too. Actually, the team faces two significant challenges this season thanks to the schedule. The first is the rematch of last year’s PAC-12 championship game – the Washington Huskies versus Colorado Buffalo.
This will be a huge game for both teams, very likely dictating the eventual champions of the conference. While we believe this will be a win for the Washington Football team, it’s a huge task to go on the road to face this opponent. Colorado has plenty of incentive, plus the additional advantages of home field.
Next: Who will lead the Washington Football team in pass interceptions?
The next huge contest will find the Washington Huskies once more on the road, this time to face the Stanford Cardinals. Once more, this game will carry huge weight as to the team who will play for the PAC-12 championship.
While I have called this game a loss for now, the Washington Football team has a great chance to win that game as well.
