The Philadelphia Eagles got a pretty good deal by snagging Giles Jackson in the undrafted free agent market. While he’s not as young as some other wide receivers and there are certainly some more physically imposing pass catchers out there, Jackson is a dynamic and explosive weapon on the offensive side of things.
And for a team like the Eagles, who are open to being a little unconventional here and there and are seemingly willing to experiment with finding the right players to put in the right positions to score, getting someone like Jackson certainly will be intriguing to keep up with.
As Jackson starts to make his way east to try and cement a spot on the Eagles’ roster moving forward, one of the talented wide receiver’s former teammates is thrilled to see Philadelphia go out and make this decision following the conclusion of the draft.
Jonah Coleman, the latest in a long line of really remarkable and talented Washington Husky running backs, made sure to celebrate the accomplishment of one of the most important members from Washington’s offense this past season as he congratulated Jackson’s deal with the Eagles.

Of course, Coleman wasn’t the only one to take note of Jackson’s accomplishment here. Plenty of other folks were quick to react to the news that Jackson would have a shot at making it into the NFL moving forward.

Jackson’s hard work is certainly paying off. And it probably didn’t hurt that he had such a remarkable showing during the 2024 Sun Bowl against the Louisville Cardinals.

Eagles took the steal of the draft and they didn’t even draft him

It’ll be fascinating to see the role that Jackson is able to play with the Eagles moving forward. He’s a fantastic athlete who made some truly incredible plays all throughout this past season for UW.
