As NFL teams continue to try and find uniquely talented players to work with through the undrafted free agent process, a former Washington Husky star receiver is going to make his way on over to the East Coast as he aims to continue his football career.
After six seasons of college football, Giles Jackson will be continuing on to the next level. He’s played for the Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Huskies and now he’s headed to try and earn a spot with the Philadelphia Eagles.
While Jackson is far from being the most physically imposing receiver ever (he is a bit on the shorter side when it comes to measuring up against folks in the NFL as he weighs in at 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds), Jackson is dynamic and still very, very productive as a wide receiver.
That was certainly evident in his final season with the Huskies as he became one of the most dangerous receiving threats for Washington in a season that the offense just wasn’t where UW wanted it to be in the midst of a coaching and style transition.

Jackson had some pretty impressive numbers throughout his career as he caught a total of 159 passes for 1723 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. Across his career, Jackson averaged 10.8 yards per reception. And in the return game, Jackson managed to return 71 kickoff returns for 1730 yards and a couple of touchdowns.
Oh! It’s also worth noting that Jackson ran the ball 33 times for 183 yards and two more touchdowns. The dude was pretty versatile and that helped UW a lot.
Specifically at Washington, and looking specifically at his final season with UW in 2024, Jackson exploded with regards to productivity. He managed to catch four touchdown passes against the Louisville Cardinals in the 2024 Sun Bowl and also had 161 receiving yards in that game.
In the entirety of the 2024 Washington Husky season, Jackson had 85 receptions (a career best for him) for 893 yards (also a career best mark) and seven touchdowns (again, a career best). He was one of the most productive wide receivers in the Big Ten in UW’s first season in the new conference and he was a huge reason for the offensive success that Washington was able to see.
