While neither team is all that great, Washington is still the favorite in this one. Even though they are the road team. The banged-up and underperforming Huskies are still the better team. FanDuel has their odds at 3.5 favorites. ESPN Analytics thinks the probability of Washington winning is 58.6%.
Washington really does need it. While they are almost assuredly out of the NCAA Tournament, there is still a lot to play for, and Danny Sprinkle has a pathway forward to save the season for the Huskies. It will be important to win these games.
The Huskies have shown they can lose these games, though, as they did to Penn State. However, if they play their best, Washington should be able to cruise through the Terrapins.
For Husky fans, the TV news is frustrating unless you have Peacock. Maybe now is the time to watch Washington basketball on Peacock, as many Americans have jumped on for the Olympics. If you have the streaming platform, you can watch; if you don't, you are out of luck.
