Top 25 Early Signing Day class rankings: Where is the 2025 Washington Huskies class?
By Ethan Lee
It’s time to talk recruiting, folks. Jedd Fisch and the Washington Husky football program are set to bring another batch of Huskies to Seattle and the signing class is starting to look pretty solid, all things considered.
Which, you know, is a good thing given that the Early Signing Day is upon us, folks. This isn’t the end of what this recruiting cycle will look like nationally, but we’re about to get a really good idea of what the results of Fisch's recruiting efforts through his first full recruiting cycle on Montlake will look like.
This is a program that is still finding and defining its identity with Fisch as the head coach and this next recruiting class is going to play a huge role in shaping the future of this program.
That said, it’ll be interesting to see how Jedd Fisch and the Huskies balance the need to win sooner rather than later via the transfer portal with an effort to build a long term program through conventional recruiting efforts centered around seeking out high school recruits.
So, how are the Huskies doing right now?
Top 25 Recruiting Class Rankings: Where are Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies 2025 signing class during the Early Signing Period?
Right now, Fisch and the Huskies have a huge class packed with 29 commitments. That’s a fairly significant number of athletes who will be headed to Montlake to help build the Washington football program moving forward.
And at the moment, the Huskies are holding strong with a class in the top 20 recruiting rankings:
That list only shows the top 10, but the Huskies are currently sitting at No. 20. Here's what the top 25 classes look like at the moment, according to the good folks over at 247Sports:
- Texas Longhorns
- Georgia Bulldogs
- Ohio State Buckeyes
- Alabama Crimson Tide
- Auburn Tigers
- Michigan Wolverines
- Oregon Ducks
- Texas A&M Aggies
- LSU Tigers
- Tennessee Vols
- Florida Gators
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- Miami Hurricanes
- Ole Miss Rebels
- Oklahoma Sooners
- USC Trojans
- Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
- Penn State Nittany Lions
- Nebraska Cornhuskers
- Washington Huskies
- South Carolina Gamecocks
- TCU Horned Frogs
- Missouri Tigers
- Wisconsin Badgers
- Maryland Terrapins
It remains to be seen exactly how it’ll all play out. Between the transfer portal, the early signing period, and the conventional National Signing Day, there are plenty of chances to get athletes to campus and to shape a roster these days.
But right now, Washington Husky fans should be pretty happy with how this group is looking. It might take a little bit of time to get a fully Big Ten-ready roster, but this class seems to be taking steps in that direction. And I, for one, am curious to know how it’ll all unfold for Fisch and this bunch of Washington Husky football recruits.
