Washington's Tacario Davis has to be flying up NFL Draft boards with his performance and intangibles so far at the NFL Combine. He's about as rare a defensive back as you can find because of his size and speed combo that no other corner has at the NFL Combine. Davis measured in at 6'4" with an 81-inch wingspan. That alone puts him in the plus category; add in the fact that he ran a 4.41 40-yard dash, and NFL Scouts are taking notice.

His overall performance and stats will impress you, and the good news for Davis is that scouts don't have to look away from his game film either. His tape is just as impressive, and that's going to boost his draft stock like crazy.

Davis was the fifth fastest corner with his 40 time, and while that's getting a lot of notice. His other combine stats are also pretty impressive. Here, those stats are:

40-yard dash: 4.41
10-yard split: 1.59
Vertical jump: 37"
Broad jump: 10' 3"

Add in the physical attributes:
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 194 pounds
Arm length: 33 3/8"
Hand length: 9 1/4"

That's an elite profile, and his RAS score (a model used for combine testing) is a 9.76 out of 10. That puts his combine profile in the top tier of all cornerbacks and will certainly boost his overall draft prospects. He's currently projected around the 5th round, but with his size and speed combo being showcased this week, he could jump into day two.

Todd McShay giving the shoutout you see above is relevant to his boost during the NFL Combine. McShay is clearly moving Davis up his big board now.

Davis was also impressive in the drills, maybe not as tight and fluid as the other Husky corner at the NFL Combine, Ephesians Prysock, but Davis won't lose points to it. He caught 7 of 7 passes during the gauntlet drill, helping secure that not only is he long and agile, but he also has solid hands and can use his height, speed, and length to bring in interceptions.

The narrative around Davis has risen over the course of yesterday and today, and more to come tomorrow as he continues to test and showcase why he's deserving to be one of the top cornerbacks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
