For the final home game of the 2024 Washington Husky football season, fans will get the chance to take part in a meaningful tribute at Alaska Airlines field at Husky Stadium. On Friday, November 15, the Washington Huskies will bring the UCLA Bruins to Seattle.

That’s a fairly familiar face for the Washington Huskies football program and its fans during a season in which plenty of changes around the Huskies and the general college football landscape happen to be taking place.

As Jedd Fisch and the Huskies get set to wrap up the regular season with their final home game of the year, the Huskies will use their last home game to honor a couple of notable crowds. First, the game theme has been set as this year’s “Salute to Service” game for the Huskies.

And then of course, there’s the fact that this is Senior Day for the Washington Husky football players. Both of those are noteworthy in their own right and given that there are only six true home games, it’s interesting to see these two moments packed into one game. But, that’s how it’s playing out this season. It’ll be interesting to see how the schedule works in conjunction with the themes next season and moving forward.

Washington Husky football to host UCLA Bruins on ‘Salute to Service’ and Senior Day

Washington Husky football fans are invited to show up early as the Husky Marching Band plays a pregame tribute show. As the University of Washington athletics department noted in a press release back in April, the festivities “will carry throughout the game.”

Fans that do show up early will get to celebrate the graduating class for the Huskies this season. So, this will likely be a pretty emotion-filled event for a lot of folks.

And the Huskies will get to meet up with another former Pac-12 team that migrated on into the Big Ten this season during the celebrations.
