And like just about every other team in college football, they’re getting set to start their 2024 season. As Washington Huskies fans know by now, the Huskies happen to be hosting Weber State to get the season started.

And so, let’s go ahead and start peeking over at Weber State’s game notes to get a look at their 2024 depth chart, shall we?

As the Weber State Wildcats get set to meet up with Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies in Husky Stadium, Mickey Mental (the head coach for Weber State) has released the Wildcats’ depth chart. Which, to some degree, gives us a little bit of insight into their team.

At quarterback, the Wildcats will be turning to Richie Munoz, who has earned the starting role. The 5-11, 215-pound sophomore will get the start for Weber State. Joining Munoz in the backfield will be junior running back Damon Bankston, who is set to lead the Wildcat’s ground game. Sophomore Adrian Cormier is his backup.

And now let’s head on over to wide receiver for the Wildcats. There, senior Jacob Sharp, junior Jayleen Record, and sophomore Jaden Thrower are all listed as starters.

Up front on the offensive side of things, Gavin Ortega, Lavaka Taukeiaho, Terrance Caldwell, Vae Soifua, and Zoom Esplin comprise Weber State’s offensive line. Keayen Nead is listed as the starter at tight end for the Wildcats.

Weber State has a formidable front seven that is anchored by junior defensive end Brayden Wilson. The Wildcats also have Steven Bryant, Zeke Birch ( or Matt Herron), Kahnist Thompson (or Kemari Bailey) listed as starters on the defensive line.

The linebacker unit features senior Garrett Beck and junior Alema Tupuola along with Raimoana Tiniraurii, a group that features plenty of experience. In the secondary, Jalon Rock and Ishaan Daniels are listed as starters at corner. Ej Evett (or Trevian Tribble) and BJ Carey (or Kao Hansen or Angel King) are listed at safety for the Wildcats.
