No. 3: The Huskies won't ever score in the 1st quarter

I felt like maybe we were only dreaming and not worrying. This entire article is about doing both, it's overreactions! I need to overreact about the first quarter. What is going on there? Seriously, it's like the Huskies are sleeping to start.

When they played Weber St. they didn't score at all in the first quarter and looked lifeless. When they played Eastern Michigan, they didn't score at all in the first quarter and looked lifeless. If you think you just read the same sentence twice, you basically did.

Two games and two absolutely lifeless starts.

One of our twitter followers suggested instead of the new tradition of the Dawg Walk (which is actually a pretty cool tradition) they should simulate the first quarter of a game so we can get whatever it is out of our system before the game starts.

Jedd Fisch even noted this in his in-game comments to the side-line reporter that they have to find a way to start faster. They are coming out of the gate sluggish and that's not going to work against some of the upcoming opponents.

Shoot, Washington State started with an onside kick disguised as a kickoff to OPEN the game. We see them in the Apple Cup next Saturday, we better be ready, they obviously do not plan to start slow with us.
