It's the UW "what ifs" that keep me up at night...

No. 1: Huskies defense won't allow a touchdown all season

They haven't yet, why stop at two games, let's dream big and go crazy. In the two games the Huskies have played, the opponent has only been on UW's side of the field a total of 9 times. Only getting inside the 10, once.

That one time was because of a blocked punt by EMU, and the Eagles failed to convert on fourth and goal. This is pretty insane to think about, in terms of how elite the defense has been so far.

It actually is even more impressive considering there has only been 12 total points scored on this defensive unit, all of them field goals, and two of them were over 50 yards. Shout-out to Jesus Gomez who was absolutely nails for EMU.

Making a 57-yard field goal (with room to spare) is an impressive feat at any level, hats off to that young man.

Therefore, our first overreaction is that UW is going to keep everyone out of the endzone. Every. Single. Opponent.

Sure, it might not happen, but that's why it's an overreaction and truly right now, you have no evidence to prove to me otherwise. This defense has been absolutely a brick wall, especially on the Husky side of the field.
