Washington Huskies vs Eastern Michigan: 3 overreactions from UW's 21-point win
By Mark Knight
The Washington Huskies are starting the season 2-0 with an impressive win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles with a final score of 30-9. The game started flat for the Huskies but UW went out for the final three quarters and showed that they were clearly the better team and the decisive favorite.
As the opponents begin to get harder and the tune-up games come to an end it's time for one of our favorite articles over here at the Husky Haul; over-reactions.
There were so many positives in this game and things that we can take away as we look forward to the rest of the schedule. However, that's not the point, that is for a far more rational article. We want the over-reactions, we want the audacious nonsense, the crazy feelings, the "did this writer drink too much caffeine before he wrote this article" (which the answer is actually yes, even though it's 7pm at night).
Washington Husky football: 3 overreactions after Huskies handle Eastern Michigan
Here's the deal, it is fun to overreact as a fan, in fact, sports fans look for ways to do it after every game.
Whether it's the big dreams of 'what could be' or the dreaded nightmares of, 'this better get fixed' they both will have fans going from Saturday to Saturday with a skip in their step or a worry in their heart. After today's game against the Eastern Michigan Eagles it is far more of the former than the latter.
I don't know what your over reactions are but we have narrowed ours down to three very clear winners. The things that cause us to dream, no matter how crazy those dreams may be, we are here for them.
Without further adieu...
