The Washington Huskies have a pretty difficult schedule, all things considered. In week five, Jedd Fisch gets the distinct pleasure of taking his team from Seattle all the way across the country to meet up with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

That’s part of a conference schedule. Washington is traveling very, very far to play a conference game. Oh joy. College football is definitely in a very healthy place right now, right?

Oh, and by the way, the Huskies are going to face a team that has surprised plenty of people this season. Washington will get the distinct pleasure of meeting up with a Rutgers team that is unbeaten and boasts a pretty decent defense.

But, all things considered, this is a great chance for Washignton to get a respectable conference win and maybe move up a bit in the latest ESPN FPI rankings. It could conceivably bump the Huskies in the Big Ten portion of the FPI rankings.
