One nonconference opponent down, another one coming up. After handling business against the Weber State Wildcats, Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies football team are set to host a new foe at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium once again this weekend.

And theoretically speaking, the Huskies are going to face a tougher foe this go round.

The Huskies play a MAC opponent team in Eastern Michigan this Saturday at home. Just like UW, the Eagles are coming in off of their first win of the season. In week one, EMU managed to claim a win against UMASS.

They will be looking for ways in which to exploit the UW defense and trying to limit the Husky offense.

Washington Huskies vs. Eastern Michigan Eagles: 3 EMU players UW fans should know

This game shouldn't be too much of a challenge, to be completely honest, but it's still something that should be examined and taken seriously.

While it should be another lopsided tuneup game for the Huskies, no team should be taken for granted especially a team with a win already under their belts. If the EMU Eagles are going to find a way to win it's going to be because of these opposing players to watch.

No. 1: Oran Singleton Jr.

I'm not sure he was the one most EMU fans predicted to be the standout wide receiver in week one but anytime someone can put together 8 catches in a game, they are clearly part of the game plan. Singleton ended the game with a stat-line of 8 receptions, 89 yards, and a touchdown.

This is an effective approach to the passing attack and one that we will want to see how the Huskies handle it. They didn't seem to have any problems in the passing coverage against Weber State and we will see what they do with Singleton's ability to take chunk yardages for first downs.
