Washington football: Three observations from Day 2 of Spring Practice
Demond Williams Jr. has a promising future
Demond Williams Jr. was originally committed to Arizona but decided to follow Jedd Fisch and co to Washington. While slightly undersized, Williams showed why Washington football's future is in good hands at Thursday's practice. The dual-threat quarterback showcased his passing and scrambling skills. The ball consistently jumped out of his hand and he threw with a strong zip on the ball.
Team organization
The Jedd Fisch era is officially underway, ushering in a new wave of enthusiasm and focus for Washington football. As the team took the field yesterday, there was a palpable sense of energy and determination. The session ran with remarkable organization, with each player clearly knowing their role. It's a promising start to a new chapter for the team.
Strong RB Room
The running backs room will be very strong for the Huskies in 2024. Not only do they have Arizona transfer Jonah Williams, but Cam Davis is looking healthy and ready to go as well as Tybo Rogers. All three looked incredibly fluid during yesterday's drills and they were supported by fellow backs Daniyel Ngata, Sam Adams II, Ryder Baumgarner, and freshman Adam Mohammed.
