Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft has concluded and a handful of more Washington football players have come off the board. The University of Washington has taken over this draft as they are one of two teams to have at least 7 players taken.

Rounds 4-7 resume on Day 3 tomorrow at 12 PM EST.

Washington football's Ja'Lynn Polk and Roger Rosengarten selected in the second round

Wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk's name was the first Husky called on Day 2, selected early at 37th overall by the New England Patriots. The Patriots have been lacking offensive weapons for a while and Polk is an excellent addition, especially after they drafted quarterback Drake Maye in Round 1.

Offensive lineman Roger Rosengarten was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens at 62 overall to help fortify the offensive trenches. Rosengarten was a key part to Washington's best offensive line in the country.

Washington football's Bralen Trice and Jalen McMillan go in the third round

Bralen Trice will now join teammate Michael Penix Jr. in Atlanta after being selected 74th overall.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got a steal at 92nd overall with wide receiver Jalen McMillan. The Huskies had the best wide receiver corps in the country last season but because of injuries, McMillan's draft stock took a slight hit. He joins fellow Huskies Cade Otton, Vita Vea, and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka in Tampa Bay.

The Washington football players left in the draft are:

  • LB Edefuan Ulofoshio
  • EDGE Zion Tupuola-Fetui
  • RB Dillon Johnson
  • TE Devin Culp
  • TE Jack Westover
  • DB Dom Hampton
