Troy Fautanu in 28 starts only allowed two sacks and 28 pressures. He played over 100 snaps at guard but played the majority of his college career at left tackle. Fautanu has great speed on the line to get to pass rushers and good footwork and hands to protect the quarterback.
Troy Fautanu will be a high level guard for his next team

His technique and hand placement are NFL ready. Also a reliable run blocker with effective lead blocking...
His size and strength will likely prevent him from playing tackle in the NFL. But he'll be a great guard pic.twitter.com/uUSbBDTu0S
CJ Stroud showed the world that he is a special talent in this league and a talent that needs to be protected. The Texans are a young team with a lot of talent and Faoutanu would fit in perfectly with that mantra. He has the ability to give great pass protection to Stroud and allow him to stay in the pocket and work his magic.
