Washington football mock draft: Where will the Huskies be picked in 2024?

FanSided college sports writer Ericka Brockish projects where this large class of Huskies will be drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. Michael Penix Jr., Rome Odunze, and Dillion Johnson headline this draft class.

Washington fell just shy of a National Championship under head coach Kalen DeBoer. Now the Huskies have a new head coach, lost a lot of players to the transfer portal, and have one of the biggest draft classes.

Several starters on the offense are projected to go in the first and second rounds of the NFL draft and have the ability to be top NFL players. Michael Penix Jr. raised his draft stock towards the end of the 2023 season and did so again in the Senior Bowl. Rome Odunze is a top-10 pick as the No. 2 wide receiver in the draft.

Here are my projected about when the Huskies will hear their name on draft day.

Rome Odunze. player. 7. Pick 7. Rome Odunze. 35. Washington mock draft. . . Round 1

Rome Odunze will make a great wide receiver in the NFL for whichever team chooses to draft him. He went off at the beginning of the season with four straight 100-yard games and was the number-one target for Michael Penix Jr. all throughout the season.

The Tennessee Titans are a team in need of wide receivers. While an offensive line is a need for the Titans to build protection for Will Levis, he also needs weapons desperately with the possible departure of Derrick Henry. Odunze is a perfect fit for this offense, a young quarterback and wide receiver duo seems to be what it takes for offenses to be successful in this league.

Odunze's size and speed are what set him apart from other receivers. He can use his size to his advantage when making a contested catch. Odunze has what it takes to be a No. 1 receiver on a team.
