Washington football has secured a significant commitment from Arizona transfer defensive back Ephesians Prysock.

Standing tall at 6'4" and weighing 190 pounds, Prysock brings a formidable presence to the Huskies' secondary. He originally committed to USC as a four-star recruit coming out of high school but eventually flipped to Arizona.

In 2022, he made three starts as a true freshman, registering a total of 16 tackles, with 13 solo tackles and three assists.

During the 2023 season, Prysock further solidified his prowess with an impressive 61 tackles and one interception. His contributions did not go unnoticed, earning him All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention in 2023.

His ability to make plays in the secondary will make him a valuable asset for the Huskies. He had six pass breakups last season and I can't wait to see him get his hands on the ball in 2024.

This move also sees Prysock joining the ranks of Jedd Fisch and John Richardson in the migration from Arizona to Seattle. Prysock joins fellow corner Jordan Shaw in transferring from Arizona to Washington. The two will compete with Elijah Jackson, Davon Banks, Caleb Presley, Thaddeus Dixon, and others this year.

The addition of Prysock is particularly crucial for the Huskies, as they look to fill in key positions left vacant by several players departing for the NFL draft and the transfer portal. With his proven track record and experience, Ephesians Prysock appears poised to make a significant impact in Washington and contribute to the team's success in the upcoming seasons.

Prysock has two years of eligibility remaining.
