Michigan fans angered after Washington Huskies handle Wolverines in title rematch
By Ethan Lee
Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies just handed the No. 10 Michigan Wolverines a double digit beating as they took care of business at home in Husky Stadium while hosting the Wolverines. In a tough, physically draining game that was closer than it probably should have been, Fisch and the Huskies came out on top 27-17.
Washington is now 4-2 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play. Michigan fans are now very, very upset about the whole ordeal.
The Huskies handed Michigan their second loss of the season and effectively ruined any hopes that the Wolverines may have had when it comes to making it to the College Football Playoff this season, barring something bizarre happening.
Michigan’s offense looked flat and uninspiring. There were a few highlights here and there, especially once they made the choice to let Jack Tuttle have a shot at running the offense. But, for the most part, the Wolverines weren’t really able to reliably move the ball up and down the field all that much.
Washington’s defense limited the Wolverines to just 287 yards. Steve Belichick should be proud. Sherrone Moore should be upset. And Michigan Wolverines fans really, really aren’t happy right now.

And generally speaking, it’s fair for Michigan fans to be upset, but boy are they really mad about this one.
Michigan fans, right now, are absolutely up in arms over their coaching staff right now. The Wolverines have a lot of talent all over their roster, but they just simply can’t accomplish what they want to accomplish this year.
And that means fans will have thoughts on the matter.
Some of these stats really, truly rock. Well, maybe not from the perspective of a Michigan fan, but definitely from the perspective of a Washington Huskies fan.
Michigan fans have every right to be upset right now. They’ve got some intriguing potential, but it doesn’t feel like they’ll hit that sort of potential this season. They’re in a bit of a rebuild as well. Just like UW. But at least Washington managed to win this game.
