Huskies vs. Longhorns Sugar Bowl preview

It will have been one month since the Huskies beat Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship when they take the field tomorrow.

Washington will have had a much-needed month to refresh and recuperate before taking on Texas in a rematch from the Alamo Bowl last season. The Huskies won that game 27-20 and beat Texas in their home state.

It's often overlooked that Texas was missing several key players in that game, notably running backs Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson. Despite this, the Huskies only managed a 7-point victory.

However, this year's matchup is expected to be a shootout as the Huskies' offense is even stronger and Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers has had another year to develop. It likely won't be an easy win for Washington but they certainly have the tools and traits to get it done.
