How to watch Washington Huskies vs. Weber State if impacted by Comcast - Big Ten Network dispute
By Ethan Lee
Bad news, Washington Husky football fans. If you want to watch the Huskies welcome Weber State to Seattle this weekend AND you happen to be a Comcast customer, you might be impacted by a dispute between the Big Ten Network and Comcast/Xfinity.
This isn't just a Washington Huskies deal though. This is something that is impacting the Oregon Ducks, USC Trojans, and UCLA Bruins. This dispute between Comcast/Xfinity and the Big Ten Network could impact folks in all of these fanbases.
So, what can you do? Well, let's go through a few options.
How to watch Washington Huskies vs. Weber State Wildcats while dealing with Comcast/Xfinity - Big Ten Network dispute
These sorts of broadcasting disputes happen periodically. This is not unique to Comcast/Xfinity and the Big Ten Network. I'm not trying to blame anyone or any organization here. But, well, it's impacting folks who want to watch the Washington Huskies get the 2024 season started.
So, here are a few possible solutions to consider.
YouTube TV
There is a free trial for YouTube TV that runs for a week. While YouTube TV is much more expensive than it was when it initially launched, it's a pretty solid way to watch TV these days. And it's got the Big Ten Network. If you want to watch the Washington Huskies while the Big Ten Network is in the midst of a dispute with Comcast/Xfinity, this is a viable option.
Fubo
Another streaming service and another free trial to consider. Fubo is another option for Washington Huskies fans looking for a way to keep up with the Huskies for any games that are on the Big Ten Network.
Sling
If you'd like to find an option that is pretty affordable in the long run, Sling is the way to go. They've got a couple of different sports packages and add ons to consider and are a viable option to watch the Big Ten Network while Comcast/Xfinity and the network figure things out.
So, there are a few options out there. I'm not advocating for any one over any of the others. All I want is for you to be able to watch the Washington Huskies this weekend (and the rest of this season).
