Evaluating grades for Washington Huskies in 21-point win vs. Eastern Michigan Eagles

Washington Huskies offense vs. Eastern Michigan: B+
Look, I have no major complaints here. Statistically, Washington looked really solid here. My biggest gripe is that it took over a quarter for the Huskies to get on the scoreboard. That is an issue that Fisch and UW offensive coordinator Brennan Carroll will need to figure out.
But, other than no points in the first quarter, this was a pretty good effort from the Huskies offense.
At quarterback, Will Rogers, in relatively quiet fashion, had a commendable performance. Rogers managed to overcome some early stumbles (including a literal stumble) to complete 21 of his 26 pass attempts for 261 yards and four touchdowns. And, most importantly, he didn’t throw a single pick. That’s more than just a decent performance.
On the ground, Jonah Coleman led the way once again. Coleman appears more than capable of leading the Huskies’ offense and though he only got 11 carries, Coleman made the most of that by running for 104 yards (which is good for 9.5 yards per carry). He’s explosive, powerful, and dynamic. He’s a great asset for the Huskies.
Looking around the offense, Washington managed to rack up 501 total yards of offense and got multiple receivers involved. It would be nice to have a quicker start and for the Huskies to put more points on the scoreboard, but I’m relatively happy here. No major complaints.
