With the Washington Huskies makgin the move from Pac-12 and on over into the Big Ten, there are a ton of new teams that Washington will face as the Huskies move forward. Things have changed with the college football landscape and the Huskies will soon be playing a ton of teams from the Midwest.

Gone are the days of West Coast high scoring shootouts for Washington and the Pac-12. Now, the Huskies get the delight of regularly playing against a collection of teams the much prefer a very different brand of football.

And while not every Big Ten team that resides in the Midwest is dreadful on offense and relies heavily on defense and special teams to shine and find success, that certainly seems to be the case for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes in recent seasons.

Ferentz, one of the steadiest and quietly most successful coaches the sport has seen can't seem to field a dangerous offense in recent years. And things have certainly become absolutely memeable for the Hawkeyes.

In some ways, Washington Huskies fans should be glad that they'll get to see the Hawkeyes offense face Washington's defense. But, on the other hand, there's a chance that Iowa drags Washington down into the mud and makes the Huskies play in the absolutely disgusting brand of football they're playing against Illinois State right now.

College football media members highlight abysmal Iowa offense

The Hawkeyes are struggling in their season opener against Illinois State and there's really no good reason for that. And of course, folks on college football twitter are quick to react to just how gross Iowa's offense has looked to start the season.

It doesn't seem like anything has changed!

There was a chance that Brian Ferentz was the guy holding the Hawkeyes back, but even with a new offensive coordinator in place, Iowa is still awful on offense. AWFUL!

Just take a look at that mess.

So many punts. All the punts. Just so many.

We may never see Iowa score 50+ points again in our lifetime.

The whole deal is just a collective disaster and Iowa Hawkeyes fans deserve better from their team. But, well, hopefully the Hawkeyes don't get their offense figured out before the Washington Huskies face them in October.
