Big Ten Power Rankings: Okay Tier

11. Oregon (Last Week Rank: 13)

The Ducks are moving up the list by the simple reality that a win is a win. Even though once again, they are absolutely not showing that they are a top 10 team in the nation. Boise State was seconds away from being able to take them to OT and maybe a drive away from beating them. It's back to back uninspiring performances from Oregon.

12. Wisconsin (Last Week Rank: 14)

The Badgers also get to move up because of other Big Ten teams losing. They did have a relatively good win against South Dakota 27-13. However, some would say it should have been more than that against the Coyotes thus they get to stay in the "Okay Tier".

13. Iowa (Last Week Rank: 6)

It's hard to fault the Hawkeyes too much as they lost to their rivals in the final seconds of the game. However, it's hard to say they are "good" right now and it's much easier to say that they are "okay". There is a chance they have a really good year, but a 20-19 loss to Iowa State is not a great resume builder.

14. Michigan State (Last Week Rank: 17)

The Spartans looked much better in week 2 than in the opening game. Hopefully, Jonathan Smith has helped this team get going with a big win against another Big Ten team in Maryland 27-24. I
