The Oregon Ducks, ranked #3 in the nation, looked like the #39 ranked team in the nation when they played the Idaho Vandals.
They may have won, 24-14, but it was flat and unimpressive. Now seems like a great time to check on our rivals down I-5. I'm sure the fans are taking it in stride and aren't unhinged at all, right?
Below is a collection of tweets from Oregon Duck fans during and after that game. It should make you smile just a little bit if you are a Husky fan.
Oregon football fans react after Ducks struggle against Idaho Vandals
You better be fired up and play all 4 quarters firing on all cylinders, and that includes the coach who showed no emotion at all.
— Robert Mahar (@Rob_Mahar07) September 2, 2024
Come on, Dan, show some emotions. Maybe fire up one of your viral videos of a canned speech to get the team going!
Can someone tell me how Oregon is going to fix their O line issues in 1 week? We are in deep shit…
— TJ (@TJMallard15) September 2, 2024
How does a team full of 4 and 5-star linemen with Nike money already have O-line issues? Fascinating. This I need to see!
Slept on it, feel no different. Feels like a loss.

OL terrible. Unacceptable.
If Gabriel isn’t going to look down field after another week I’m done supporting him. If he’s not willing to run or go downfield he shouldn’t have came to Oregon.
These receivers were frustrated.
I guess if the O-Line is miserable, I for one as the QB will never look down field. Check downs for days.
Terrible. Disappointed. Disgusted. Back to Mario cristabol wins vibes. Miserable.

Yikes... we are already at Mario Cristabol vibes. It's only week 1 but that's like a Husky fan saying it's feeling like Tyrone Willingham again.
Embarrassing

Agreed. Cosign from here.
I swear to god we better pull our heads out of our rear, way too much talent to he underperforming
— Sonder'JJ𝕏🦆 (@Samecali4lights) September 3, 2024
Sure it's a typo but I love the "he underperforming" line of this tweet because it seems as if it could apply to about the entire team. Which one is underperforming? "He" is.
No Cap, that was the worst game of the Dan Lannig era. Oregon was litteraly on the brink of becoming the new App State-Michigan debacle joke.
— Sean Williams (@EDMmercanary) September 1, 2024
There are much more where that came from and as a Husky site, we hope there are many more, shoot maybe even Boise State can take advantage of the tape from last week and get a win. Or maybe, as many Duck fans are hoping, Dan Lanning can fire his team up and they can actually look like one of the top teams with one of the most talented rosters in College Football.
Hopefully, we get to do this again next week, and if so, please send us any tweets you see @HuskyHaul on X. We would love to add them to the collection. Rivalries are fun.
