4 roughest games remaining for Jedd Fisch, Washington Huskies after Apple Cup debacle

No. 2: Washington Huskies vs. Oregon Ducks (Week 13)
Hey look, another former Pac 12 to Big Ten transplant! Hey look, a game that could be really, really challenging for the Washington Huskies. The regular season finale against the Oregon Ducks in Eugene will be tough for Jedd Fisch and UW. It’s great that this rivalry is continuing, but it will admittedly be difficult for Washington to continue its winning streak of Dan Lanning and the Ducks this season.
While Oregon has indeed looked beatable at times this season, and that is something worth keeping in mind as the Huskies move forward, it’s hard to imagine them beating Oregon right now. There’s just a massive gap in the way these teams executed last week and the Ducks have a ton of talent all over their roster.
Washington’s roster is, admittedly, still a bit of a work in progress. The Huskies have some intriguing components, but Lanning has built one heck of a team down in Eugene.
Obviously things will change between now and when this game is played and obviously this is a rivalry game, so there could be a number of different ways that this plays out. But right now, ESPN’s FPI and the analytics matchup predictor aren’t exactly thrilled with UW’s chances of winning this one.
After Washington fell to Wazzu in the Apple Cup, the chances of UW beating Oregon currently sit at 21.6 percent, according to ESPN’s FPI. This game will be huge for Fisch and the Huskies and could offer them a very real chance at redeeming this season in a major way.
