4 roughest games remaining for Jedd Fisch, Washington Huskies after Apple Cup debacle

No. 4: Washington Huskies vs. Iowa Hawkeyes (week 7)
It’ll be fascinating to see just how this game plays out and if the Iowa Hawkeyes truly do have an offense worth bragging about. Up to this point in the season, I still have a ton of questions about the Hawkeyes on that side of the ball.
Now, on the other side of things, Iowa’s defense is STOUT and is something that just will not be fun for the Huskies to try to contend with. There’s a very good chance that Washington Husky fans will need to brace themselves for a low-scoring, defensive slugfest when Jedd Fisch and the Huskies take a trip to Iowa City in week seven.
This game will be a challenge and while it’s not Washington’s first Big Ten road trip, it’s the first trip to one of the original members of the Big Ten and it’s not like the Huskies take trips into the Midwest in the middle of October all that often.
Weather could certainly have an impact on this game. I don’t love the thought of the Huskies having to play this game in this location at this time. Plus, Iowa fans certainly show up to Kinnick Stadium and create a tough atmosphere to play in.
If you ask ESPN’s Football Power Index and the ESPN Analytics Matchup Predictor tool, Washington has a 42.8 percent chance of winning this game. That’s not bad, but it’s not great. That said, still a decent bit of time between now and kickoff. Things could change here.
