After dropping the Apple Cup last weekend, Washington's path to a bowl game got a little more difficult, but it won't be impossible. Here are the most likely wins remaining on the Huskies' schedule.

No. 2: Washington Huskies vs. UCLA Bruins (week 12)

It’s going to be more than just a few weeks before the Washington Huskies get to meet up with the UCLA Bruins in Husky Stadium, but it’s worth pointing out that the second most winnable game on the 2024 Washington Huskies football schedule will happen late this season.

Weirdly enough, this game in week 12 will also be a Friday night game.

We’re going to learn a lot about both of these teams between now and when this game is played. At the moment, it looks pretty clear that Washington (though a bit of a flawed product so far as it continues to grow with this new roster and coaching staff) is a more complete group than the UCLA Bruins (who have been a MESS to start this season).

But again, a lot can change between now and when this one is played.

Still, I feel good about Washington’s chances of winning this one. When looking at ESPN’s FPI and their analytics matchup predictor, UW has an 82.5 percent chance of beating the Bruins in week 12. There’s a somewhat notable chance that this game will be crucial for Washington’s chances at a bowl game (or landing in a more prominent bowl game), so winning will be pretty important here.
