In late October, Jedd Fisch will take his Washington Huskies into the midst of the Midwest as the Huskies get a road game against the Indiana Hoosiers. Yet another far away road game for Fisch and Washington as they get adjusted to life (and the challenges) in the Big Ten.

And it will almost certainly be delightful football weather in Bloomington, Indiana on October 26. Hopefully it actually is nice because that’s when and where the Washington Huskies will be as they face off against the Indiana Hoosiers in Memorial Stadium.

With this game, Washington will have the opportunity to even up the series with the Indiana Hoosiers as they travel to Bloomington for the first time in well over 40 years. It’s not like these two teams have played each other often, but there is a little bit of history here between these two teams, interestingly enough.

Washington Huskies vs. Indiana Hoosiers 2024 game details

  • Who: Washington Huskies vs. Indiana Hoosiers
  • What: Washington's 8th game of the 2024 season
  • When: October 26, 2024
  • Where: Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, Indiana

For the first time in this century (and millennia) the Huskies will head to Bloomington to face the Hoosiers. The last time the two teams met was back in 2003, but that game was in Seattle and it was a Washington Huskies win (by a score of 38-13).

The last time Washington got to play at Indiana was back in 1978 in a game that was definitely anything but full of offense as the Huskies fell to the Hoosiers by a score of 14-7. Here’s to hoping that this contest is a bit more electrifying than that one was.

The first time these two teams ever met was all the way back in 1976 in a matchup in Seattle, when Washington unfortunately fell to the Hoosiers by a score of 20 to 13.
