2024 Washington football gameday experience elevated for UW Husky fans

There's been a ton of changes in the way the University of Washington's football program exists and, well, there are some new gameday experience options that Washington football fans need to know about.

As Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies enter a new era of Washington Husky football, a lot of things have changed around Montlake in recent months. There’s a new conference, a new head coach and coaching staff, a bunch of new players via the transfer portal, a new athletic director, and a bunch of other changes that are about to impact Washington football fans.

What kinds of changes, you might ask? Well, they just happen to be some exciting improvements to the atmosphere and experience that surrounds going to Washington Husky football games.

The Huskies have the advantage of playing in The Greatest Setting in College Football, but it’s encouraging to see the UW leadership continues to look for further opportunities to improve things for Washington Husky fans.

The gameday experience in Seattle is going to get better and that’s because the University of Washington Athletics Department announced a number of gameday upgrades.

What are the new things? Well, here’s a few of them:

  • Exclusive gathering area for season ticket holders
  • Exclusive gathering area for young alumni
  • New Montlake Memories options
  • Full-service tailgating options

But not everything that is great about the gameday experience is new. You’ve got the opportunity to enjoy some classic elements of Washington Husky football. 

Everything is changing, so go ahead and enjoy the classic Washington Husky football tradition of Sailgating this season

Let’s chat about Sailgating. This isn’t new. The tradition has been popular for decades and you’ve got a great chance to continue to do it this season. There are other institutions that have fans that Sailgate (shoutout to the Vol Navy and the Baylor fans in Waco), but this is the Greatest Setting in College Football.

So, kick back, take it easy, enjoy a ride on over to Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium via a boat. Embrace some Washington Husky tradition in the midst of everything that has changed around this program.
