A new graph has been dropped by one of the basketball analytics personalities, and Washington is in the top-3. The problem is that the graph is about injury misfortune. Washington is only outpaced by Oregon and USC in the number of top-100 teams' production lost to injuries. It's the primary reason this season has gone down the toilet and why Danny Sprinkle is losing his hair.
If you look at the graph, you can see that the Huskies are plotted towards the middle (since they are around a 50th-ranked team) horizontally, but third in height because of the production missing due to injury.
It's a fitting graphic to post the day after Washington announced another player is going to miss the rest of the season due to injury. Star freshman point guard JJ Mandaquit is now headed to recovery after injuring his foot this last week.

Washington has a legit excuse on why this season hasn't worked out: Injuries

The Huskies have had 10 different players pop up on the injury report this season, and they most likely have lost three different players for the season: Mandaquit, Desmond Claude, and Jasir Rencher. While Claude and Rencher aren't officially out for the season, the writing seems to be on the wall.
They've also had multiple players miss entire games and even series, like Lathan Sommerville, Wesley Yates III, and Mady Traore. It's not just a problem that stars and quality players aren't able to play; it's constantly messing with team chemistry.
The game against Iowa is a great example. The Huskies were up seven at the half, and then Yates was injured, only to return in the final minutes. During that time, he was gone, and the lead crumbled away. The team looked lost and out of sync. It's hard to win when the lineup is never consistent, and it's crushed the season. The only other teams that can say they had it worse are Oregon and USC.
