The Washington Huskies have one sole representative in this year's Super Bowl: Jack Westover. The problem is that he's playing for the New England Patriots. The reality is that most, if not nearly all, Husky fans also moonlight as Seattle Seahawks fans, since they share a city. Which means that UW fans would love to see Westover have success, just not in the Super Bowl.

Westover plays tight end/fullback for the Patriots but is sparingly used. He may not even make much of an appearance for the Patriots anyway. He only has one catch on the season for zero yards. He also had one catch in the playoffs against the Los Angeles Chargers, which went for eight yards.

Jack Westover will have confusing feelings deep down about this Super Bowl

He's a local kid who grew up in Bellevue, rooting for the Seahawks, so he may be in what you would call a win-win situation. The little kid in him wins when the Patriots lose, but the adult Westover gets to raise the Lombardi trophy if the Patriots come out victorious.

He actually has only played for two teams in the NFL; the other was the Seattle Seahawks. He signed with Seattle when he went undrafted, but he was eventually waived after an injury. Thus, he's got some weird, confusing feelings in this game, certainly.

Westover was a great Washington Husky, too; he had 87 receptions for 849 yards and six touchdowns in his career. Yet, he was most known for his blocking and ability to help open up running holes on the edge. Which is why he found some run in the NFL as a fullback.

It will be a confusing day for the former Husky, but it won't be that confusing for fans who rooted for him in high school, college, and when he played for the Seahawks. Those Seahawks/Huskies fans are hoping the Seattle Seahawks come out victorious.
