Okay, so, things didn’t go well with the Washington Husky women’s basketball team’s trip to the NCAA women’s basketball tournament. The UW baseball team is, uh, a bit odd right now and has a losing record at the moment. The Washington softball team seems to have some very real potential and has a solid record at the moment, but they had a tough time facing the Oregon Ducks.
Oh, and we’re not really going to talk about this past Washington Husky men’s basketball season. That was a mess.
But, there is some good news, folks. We do have a fun Washington Husky football spring ball schedule ahead of us. And that is something that we are just about morally obligated to try and enjoy.
So, let’s try to enjoy it? Let’s go ahead and take a look at the entirety of the schedule that the Washington Huskies shared for this spring, including the spring game, practices, and scrimmages. There’s plenty here for fans to enjoy.
Washington Huskies release 2025 schedule for spring game, practices, and scrimmages
Thankfully, the Huskies made it easy for us to check everything out because they put this nifty calendar together for us to take a look at.

And you want to know my favorite part of all of this? OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
Jedd Fisch has done a great job of emphasizing how important it is for fans to have a chance to connect with the Washington Husky football team. So, while there are some coaches across the country who are focused on closing off their practices and scrimmages and spring games and keeping fans from enjoying it, Fisch is going in a different direction.
And that rocks.
The Huskies will have 14 practices, a couple of scrimmages, and one spring game. It’s going to be a busy month for UW football fans who are looking for a little bit of an emotional break after the rough past few months of up and down basketball and a less than stellar start to the baseball season.
All that said, the softball team still has a very real chance to have some fun this spring, they’re just in a tough conference. So, it’s hard to tell what things will look like there. And it would be criminal to miss out on mentioning that gymnastics, tennis, and rowing all have events going on as well.
But, spring football is something that provides a unique and full sense of hope. And I, for one, would appreciate that right now.
