Jedd Fisch, Washington Huskies to host USC Trojans in Seattle for Saturday evening clash
By Ethan Lee
Starting Saturday afternoon and carrying into Saturday evening, Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies will face off against the USC Trojans in Husky Stadium. After all of the recent weeks of Big Ten conference play featuring folks out East, we finally get to see a good, old fashioned West Coast matchup.
For the 88th time ever, the Washington Huskies and the USC Trojans will meet up as both teams continue to try to fight for some bowl eligibility this season. Given how good they both were a season ago, this level of success that Washington and USC are both experiencing has to feel a little foreign.
The Huskies will be trying to snap a two-game losing streak as they host USC, but it’s worth noting just how much better Washington has been at home both in this season and also over the past few seasons. Interestingly enough, UW has lost its last two games but has won 18 consecutive matchups in the Greatest Setting in College Football.

Also interestingly enough, Will Rogers will get to reunite with another former Mississippi State Bulldog as Woody Marks arrives in Seattle with the USC Trojans and will be looking to challenge the Washington Huskies’ run defense.
Given the way that Washington is close to the worst teams in the Big Ten when it comes to slowing opposing rushing attacks, it’d be fair to say that Marks will be able to give the Huskies a headache this Saturday.
